Build

Original design: Must use your own ship design or designs
Fleet format: Build 1 or more ships
Combined budget: 8M space bucks maximum
Capital docking ports: At least 1 docking port required
Minimum engines: At least 1 engine per ship
Ammo at start: Ships must not have any ammo and ammo production lines must be empty of supplies
Ammo materials: May only use Metreon Gas and Metallic Minerals to produce ammo
Docking port cargo limit: Each docking port may have 12 squares of loaded supplies
Raw material placement: All Metreon Gas and Metallic Minerals must be in those docking-port supply squares
Docking ports: Any number allowed
External shields: External objects may not be placed as shields
Maximum speed: 130

Crew

Food and water: Required for any ship with crew
Crew capacity: Must be equal to or greater than crew count
Breathable atmosphere: Required where spacesuits are not needed
Oxygen supply: Must be supplied from a bottle or reprocessing
CO2 handling: Must be captured and either bottled or reprocessed to oxygen
Sewage handling: Must be captured and either bottled or reprocessed to oxygen
Weapons officers: Weapons officers and consoles allowed

Combat

Start position: Ships start facing each other outside railgun range
Combat control: Game AI controls all combat
Orders: Default orders enabled, including hull repair; drones may be distracted by salvage
Match format: Ships fight twice; two kills wins
Tie-breaker: If each ship gets one kill, the faster kill wins the tie
Time limit: 8 minutes
Time-limit winner: If time expires, the ship with the highest percentage of health left wins
